1. Welcome to Little One Press

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Little One Press website (littleonepress.com) and the purchase of any products sold through it. By browsing our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Little One Press is a small studio that hand-stitches personalized felt quiet books to order. We’re operated by a real person, not a faceless corporation — if anything below is unclear, email us at support@littleonepress.com.

2. Placing an order

When you place an order through our site, you are making an offer to buy the product. We accept your offer when we send you an order confirmation by email. At that point, a binding contract is formed.

All orders are subject to availability and to our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including if the personalization you’ve requested contains profanity, slurs, real-person names that are not the customer or recipient’s, or content we deem inappropriate for a children’s product.

3. Personalization & custom-made products

Every Little One Press book is made specifically for you based on the personalization details you provide at checkout (the name on the cover, the chosen theme, etc.).

• You are responsible for the spelling and accuracy of the name you submit.
• If you spot a mistake within 2 hours of ordering, email us immediately and we’ll do our best to update it before production begins.
• Once production has started, the book cannot be changed.

4. Pricing & payment

All prices on the site are shown in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties, or shipping fees unless otherwise stated. The total amount payable is shown at checkout.

Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. We accept the major card networks listed in the site footer. We do not store your card details on our servers.

Prices may change at any time, but changes won’t affect orders we’ve already confirmed.

5. Shipping & delivery

Production takes 7–14 working days per book. Shipping times depend on your location and the carrier — see our Shipping & Returns page for current estimates.

Delivery dates we provide are estimates, not guarantees. We aren’t responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control. Once a parcel is handed to the carrier and tracking is provided, the risk of loss passes to you.

6. Returns & refunds

Because each book is custom-made for one specific child, we generally cannot offer refunds once production has begun. The exceptions:

• Our error. If we ship the wrong name, wrong theme, or a defective book, we’ll fix it or replace it at our cost.
• Pre-production. If you contact us within 2 hours of ordering and production hasn’t started, we’ll happily cancel and refund.
• Lost in transit. If your parcel is lost (not just delayed) and the carrier confirms this, we’ll send a replacement.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Little One Press website — including the brand name, logo, photography, illustrations, page designs, written copy, and book designs — is owned by Little One Press or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may not reproduce, copy, sell, or commercially use any part of the site or our designs without our written permission.

8. Product care

Our books are hand-stitched from premium wool-blend felt with non-toxic dyes. They are intended for supervised play by children old enough to handle soft fabric items. We recommend gentle spot cleaning with a damp cloth — not machine washing.

Books are designed to be loved and used. Normal wear from regular play is expected and not considered a defect.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little One Press is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability we cannot legally exclude (such as for personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud).

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be announced clearly. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
