Information we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, billing and shipping address, optional phone number, and the personalisation details you provide. We do not store your card details.
When you browse the site we collect pages viewed, device and browser information, and approximate location, through cookies and analytics tools.
When you begin checkout, if you enter your email address but do not complete the order, we store that address and the contents of your cart.
Personalisation details about children
Some products are personalised with a child’s first name, and in some cases a date of birth. We use this only to make and ship your order, and share it only with the partner who manufactures your book. We do not use it for marketing.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. Your card details go directly to them and are never stored on our servers.
Fulfilment and shipping
To make and deliver your order we share your name, shipping address and personalisation details with our manufacturing partner and with shipping carriers including 4PX. Our manufacturing partner is located outside the European Economic Area, so this involves transferring your data internationally.
Order confirmations, shipping updates and marketing emails are sent through Brevo. If you started an order without completing it, we may email you a reminder. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
Analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site and to measure our advertising. This may include services provided by Google and Meta. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Reviews
If you leave a review, the name you provide and your review text are displayed publicly on our site.
How long we keep your data
Order records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Abandoned cart records are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@littleonepress.com. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
