Will it actually hold her attention?
Longer than you’d expect at that age — that’s the thing mums mention most. Every page gives her hands a job, and the tricky ones (threading, zipping) are the ones toddlers go back to. Kirsty put it best: “far more interactive than I thought it would be.”
Will her name be spelled exactly right?
You type it in exactly as you want it — any name up to ten letters — and we stitch it exactly as you typed it. Double-check the spelling at checkout, because that’s the version that goes on the cover. If it comes out wrong, we remake it free.
Will it survive a toddler?
It’s built for it — thick felt pages, sewn rather than printed, with the pieces secured to the page they belong to. It’s meant to be handled, chewed on and thrown in a bag.
Is it safe for a one-year-old?
Soft wool-blend felt throughout — no batteries, no hard plastic, no small loose parts. Pieces are secured to the page they belong to, so there’s nothing to lose under the sofa.
How do I keep it clean?
Spot-clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry. It’s felt, so keep it out of the washing machine.
Will it arrive before the party?
Every book is stitched by hand to order, so order well ahead of the birthday — the earlier the better. You’ll get tracking as soon as it’s on its way. If the party is soon, email us before you order and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can make it.
