📦 Made-to-order books
Made after you order it.
- Hand-stitched in 5–10 business days, then 5–10 business days in transit — three weeks ahead is the safe bet, then dispatched with tracking

✨ Pre-order books
Our newest designs, made in small batches. Reserving one holds your place in the batch.
- Each pre-order has its own ship date, shown on that book’s page — look for “Pre-Order — ships [date]” just above the Add to Cart button
- You’re charged when you order, which is what reserves your slot
- We email you with tracking the moment it ships
- Ordering a pre-order and an in-stock book together? They ship separately, each with its own tracking
Production time
Every book is hand-cut, sewn and finished in-house. Nothing is mass-produced, and nothing is stitched by machine.
Production runs are deliberately small — once a batch fills, the next opens 4–6 weeks later.

Our promise on returns
Because every book is hand-stitched with your child’s name, we can’t resell it — so we’re unable to offer refunds once production has started.
What we do offer: free revisions on any personalization mistake. Wrong spelling, wrong date, wrong theme — tell us and we’ll put it right, at no cost to you.
If something arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, email support@littleonepress.com and we’ll sort it out. We reply within 24 hours.
The party-date shipping refund
Ordering for a birthday or a baby shower? Tell us the date at checkout — there’s an optional “When is the party?” field. If your party date is 28 days or more after the day you order and your delivery address is in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia or Europe, the promise applies: should the tracked delivery scan land after your party date, we refund your shipping — the amount you paid, or $4.87 on free-shipping orders — to your original payment method within 5 days, with an email to confirm it.
What’s outside the promise: party dates under 28 days out or with no date given (we still start stitching the day you order), delivery addresses outside the countries above, address errors in the order, and customs holds. The carrier’s “delivered” scan counts as delivered.
Spelling
Every name is stitched exactly as you approved it at checkout — before paying, you confirm the spelling with a checkbox, shown in capitals exactly as it will appear on the cover. Please check it letter by letter: we can’t remake or refund a book for a typo in a name that was approved at checkout. Spot a mistake just after ordering? Reply to your order confirmation right away and we’ll do our best to catch it before stitching starts.
